Changelog
04/01/2025
The character display now shows the username and a D&D Beyond link, if there was one given.
2025
After a whole lot of programming, one can now add, import, delete and search for characters. The whole website is now available in english and german.
2024
Doogle.de is online pretty much as it is today, as a private PHP-project with the aim to be a help for players and gamemasters mainly for D&D, but for other roleplay systems also. Apart from PHP and MySQL, I use Bootstrap and TinyMCE, Google Recaptcha and a Discord integration.
2010
For my part time job as a web designer, Doogle.de turned to a business website, advertising my skills and tariffs.
2005
With a lot of free time work, Doogle.de became an online dictonary about the D&D lore of the Forgotten Realms (3 / 3.5 Edition). It was reworked several times. Some of the old articles are online in D&D wikis still today, as I allowed citing with a backlink.
1995
The Doogle.de web site was registered as a private homepage. I wanted to teach myself HTML. At that time, people used to search for website content with Yahoo! and used the Netscape Browser. All internet content had to be adapted to fit through an ISDN modem, so a mouseover picture was already something you needed to think about.
